Say Yes to Pro-Choice on Abortion!

The newsletter for SearchWarp stated that the majority, if not all the responders on the issue of abortion were against it. I want to put another option to this issue. Abortion needs to be pro-choice.
Most like that stance of pro-choice, as long as it is their choice (shades of that Palin woman). She would have set the whole woman's issues back more than100 years.
Education does not make people promiscuous. It makes them viable participants in their own health and well being.
Wake up America! The stance of purity just doesn't cut it in this day and age. We have the knowledge, we have the devices. Let's teach our children how to use them before they get sexually active.
Stop burying your head in the sand and assuming they won't have sex. It is a bodily function that comes alive with hormones. And we can certainly say that teenagers are walking hormones.
Marriage as a result of an unwanted pregnancy is a recipe for divorce down the road. Each will be blaming the other for ending their lives through this event. Even the Palin situation needs a re-evaluation in the light of today's divorce rates.

The fact is that abortions were done in a back alley situation in your grandparents time and they were underground because of the laws of the land. It brought out the worst in the practitioners. And many people died because of it. Are you advocating going back?
The education I am talking about is for sexual activity and protection to prevent unwanted pregnancies and sexually transmitted diseases. Both of these situations are on the rise because the participants didn't know better.
If we don't educate the young, there will continue to be an increase. And the amazing facts are, this is just not true in places that recognize the need for education on the subject.

Thank You for writing this article. I am pro choice. I believe why bring children into a family that may not be healthy for them. A women and a man should have a connection and have a healthy state of mind before bringing a child into this world to suffer. A childs' life is precious. We should be able to have the choice to bring joy into our lives.
